Keep Going. The Dream Is Already Within Reach.

"All dreams are within reach. All you have to do is keep moving towards them." When I came across this quote by Viola Davis, it was like the universe grabbed me by the shoulders and whispered, “Girl, stop playing.”
Because at that moment, I was seriously wondering how in the world I was supposed to grow a side hustle I love while working a full time job. The math was not mathing. I had a whole internal meeting with myself thinking, “Maybe the dream is too big. Maybe if I shrink it a little, it will be easier to win.”
You ever negotiate with your dreams like that? Talking to them like, “Can you calm down and be small so I can win fast?”
But then another thought showed up. What good is a win if it is not the win you actually want? Celebrating a dream you did not want is just a participation trophy with extra steps.
When Life Sends a Nudge
Just when I was ready to put my meditation dream on a high shelf like seasonal decorations, people around me started asking for help.
Family. Friends. Coworkers.
All needing support to manage stress and burnout.
And the funny part was I had just talked myself out of doing it.
Life said, “Oh, really? Watch this.”
It was the clearest sign that this dream was not optional. It had a purpose. And people were asking for exactly what I was trying to shrink.
So I stopped shrinking and started moving. Not sprinting. Not gliding. Not floating across a meadow like a wellness fairy.
Just moving. One step at a time.
What Moving Toward Your Dream Really Looks Like

It does not always look glamorous. There are no fireworks. There is no dramatic movie soundtrack.
Sometimes, moving toward your dream looks like:
signing up for training
telling one more person what you do
offering a session even when you feel a little nervous
creating content after work when you would rather take a nap
trusting the dream enough to keep showing up
For me, it looked like opening up my schedule, offering meditation sessions, and trusting that the right people would find me. And they did.
Each step counted. Even the steps that felt small. Even the steps that felt slow. Even the steps that felt unsure. Movement is movement.
You Are Closer Than You Think
If you are wondering whether your dream is realistic, let me help you out.
Stop shrinking the dream. Shrink the doubt.
Your dream is not too big. You might just be underestimating how close you already are.
Keep moving in the direction of what you want. One action at a time. One decision at a time. One brave moment at a time.
You do not have to climb the whole staircase today. You just need to take a step. Even a tiny one. Even a crawling one. They all count.
And you, my friend, are closer than you think. 🫶🏾
